General comments :

I have decided to make this profile due to recent speculation that Liverpool will become interested should Suarez leave. Moving onto Muriel he has been dubbed the new ronaldo(the Brazilian one)but i would say he is similar to Suarez himself.Onto muriels strengths he is very quick of the mark his pace leaves defenders for dead he is also a quite skilful players but he uses his skills in the right way he is not a show boater who does skills just to show off if he uses his skills it will be to confuse or beat an opponent. Muriel would be a perfect signing for Liverpool should they opt to bid for him he would fit Liverpools tiki-taka style perfectly.I feel Muriel would benefit form finding a club and staying there for a few seasons because in a 4 year professional career he has had 4 different clubs which is not very good as a player will perform better if he is settled so a move to Liverpool might benefit Muriel as well as Liverpool he could become settled at the club.

Another of Muriels strengths is his finishing there is no use having lots of pace and being able to beat a player if you can not finish at the end of a run but this lad can which must be a big plus for any club looking at buying him aswell as being a good finisher he has got one hell of a powerful shot which gives Muriel a good combination of attributes. As i mentioned before Muriel has been likened to Ronaldo i thinks this is fair he is not as good as ronaldo yet but he is 22 and has still got lots of time to develop his game.Another plus to Muriels games is his very good ball control because when you are running at pace it is very easy to loose control of the ball but he does not during his time at Udinese he has developed a good partnership with Di Natalie which i think he could replicate at Liverpool with Coutinho.

Muriel has a few weak points but i am sure he could work on them and due to the way Liverpool play i don't think his weak points will be exposed that much. One of his weak points is his heading which is really not the best but Liverpool do not put many crosses into the box but it could have give us an extra option to but the odd ball in the box but you don't miss what u didn't have bit it would have been nice if his heading was a bit better.Another of his weaknesses his is strength which is not awful but certainly not the best which could be a problem should he move to the premier league which is a very physical league although with his pace and being agile i am sure like suarez defenders would just bounce off him.

In the premier league consistency is the key and Muriel is consistent in scoring goals also another thing which i have not yet mentioned is he does get a awful lot of assists which i should of put in his strengths but oh well.I think a move to Liverpool would really benefit Muriel at this part in his career at 22 he should be ready for the premier league if he stays in Italy with Udinese which is very unlikely he is currently getting linked with top teams across Europe including Juventus,Athletico Madrid and Napoli. His scoring ratio currently is about a goals every 2.1 games which is a very good ratio for someone of a very young age the key word about Muriel is potential at the moment i would say he is a very good player but has the potential to be world class but not at the moment. No matter who he signs for or if he stays at Udinese he will become a world class player if he reaches his full potential. But as a player i think Muriel would be the perfect replacement for Suarez should he leave he has the quality to set the premier league or any other league alight i thinks to reach his potential he should leave Udinese(although they are a brilliant team) he will not be able to reach the top at Udinese.

Onto his attitude when he his playing a game he is always looking for the ball he never goes missing during a games which is what you want to see in a players always looking lively.I don't recall him doing anything stupid which is something Liverpool fans could do with at the moment and he does not receive that many bookings and he has been sent of once and has received 11 bookings in 82 appearances which is not brilliant but not terrible.

To sum up Muriel as a player i would say a very good player with bags of potential who needs to find the right club where he will stay instead of moving around every year which is doing him no good if he does i think he will go on to be remembered as a great player when you watch Muriel you wonder is he really 22 he tricks and dribbles what make you wonder he is a player if you watch a match where he is playing in he will stand out.

This is what Udinese manager Francesco Guidolin had to say about Luis after 3-1 win over sampdoria"Luis [Muriel] still has to grow and has a great sense of goals, and is a good centre forward."

the buisness end : - Muriel would cost around 17million pound should anyone make a offer to buy him which is quiet steep but he is a player who has re-sale value so 17 million pounds could get you a fantastic player with enormous potential who you could sell on in a couple of years for treble the price.

would Muriel cut it in the premier leauge: -

short and sweet yes.I think he could become a real star in the premier leauge i think he would take time to settle but once he gets up and running he would be unstoppable but it is a big chance to take at 17 million pound. If Liverpool where to bid for Muriel then they would have to get a work permit for him to enter the country this could scupper a deal.
