Kramaric reminds me of the way they used to talk about Eastern European players when I was young...er. Kramaric is technically sound, physically strong, and clever with his movement, which was exactly how people used to describe Eastern European players in the past. He has the strength and skill to be top class, but lacks the necessary little bits that take a player up to the top tier.

This season he has managed to get himself amongst the top scorers in the Champions League, but he is not the most clinical of finishers, despite having excellent technique. Kramaric does tend to hit the ball cleanly, he is a very good striker of the ball, but his shooting tends to be about hitting the target, rather than putting it into the corners. That gives keepers a chance.

His movement has much improved, but he lacks the penalty box predator's instinct of a top class striker, which is why he will never be a 30 goal a season striker. For all his abilities, he lacks that most important part of a world class striker's game, which probably explains why he could not quite break through with Leicester.

When it comes to pace, Kramaric lacks that lightning acceleration and blistering pace that could make up for a lot of the things he lacks, at least in terms of getting him into a top team. Often weaknesses are overlooked when a player has a lot of pace, it has become a real weapon in modern football, something to make up for other deficiencies in a player's game.

Being so technically strong, he will always be a good option as a back up at the top end or first choice at the lower levels. However he will never quite have the quality or physicality to be a world class striker.
