How the MLS works...

In the MLS there are not many academies you can graduate out of when you are deemed "good" enough. This makes it hard to spot homegrown talent as easy. The way they try and counter that is drafting players through Universities.

Draft History...

Now, since there is an MLS Superdraft each season, they draft players out of Universities. However, this is one of those rare times that people came out of an academy. Andre was invited to play with Montreal Impact in 2004 when they were still part of the USL.

Career

After playing only three games for Montreal Impact, he was "found". He moved to SIAD Most (Banik Most). SIAD were in the 2nd division of the Czech Leagues at that time. After 66 appearances scoring four goals, Sporting Braga decided they would try him on loan. He only totaled up 2 Appearances and decided to head for the Americas. This brings us back home. In 2009 Hainault signed for Houston Dynamo. In his Houston Career to this point he has racked up a Century of appearances scoring in six. Last year (Oct 2011) Andre turned down two World Cup Qualifiers for his country (Canada) to play in an match fixture between Houston and Portland Timbers. They went on to win.

International Career

In his international career he has 28 appearances and only two goals.

Honours

Winning his Conference (East) in 2011

Would he make it in the Premier League and personal opinion...

Yes. I think he would. In fact i don't think its a question that he would. Villa would be a great choice if they came in for him. For me, he is a Jamie Carragher. Nothing Special but yet without him you seem to be missing that one piece. The glue of the team. You will all probably laugh at me for this but here it go's. For those of you who are avid watchers of the Canadian National Team (Go Canucks) He and McKenna run the back line. Not much gets by him unless you kick it over his head. He in my mind is probably Canada's biggest talent and has some years to go. Last summer there were rumours flying about of him moving to Bordeaux. But he opted to stay in the US instead.

Strengths Uses his muscle to his advantage, Shot blocking, Reading the game

Weaknesses Not the best going forward, Rarely slide tackles from what i have seen.
